Still in School.

The latest lesson that life in its infinite wisdom is bestowing on me (for which read shoving down my throat whether I like it or not) is the connection between the reclusive mindset and the development of insanity.

Lesson 1: Reclusives don’t generally become insane. They become distant and eccentric, but that isn’t the same thing at all. What sends them to the funny farm is when their natural flow is interrupted and pressure builds up behind the walls of a dam not of their choosing. It’s the pressure which does the damage.

Lesson 2: This all stems from their need to create an alternative perception of reality to replace the one that has become redundant, but more on that another time.

Lifelong learning, eh? Who wants it?
