I’ve said this before. I have a problem watching modern feature films on the TV because the sound is so muddy. I have no problem with news reports, weather forecasts, documentaries, sports commentaries, old feature films etc, etc. Just modern feature films. I’ve sat through nearly two hours of one and hardly understood a word anybody’s said. I’ve taken to assuming that it must have something to do with the way film soundtracks are recorded these days. Maybe they’re done to suit the booming sound in a cinema and don’t translate well to a TV, I don’t know.
So how surprised was I tonight to watch Scary Movie 3 (because I’m a sucker for silliness and women who look like Anna Faris) and find the sound clear as a bell? Every word. No problem. Why is that?
I also just Googled Ms Faris and discovered that her birthday is the day after mine, albeit a year or two later. Mmm... And she’s older than she looks.
I just lost you, didn’t I?

Hhhmmm... only a year or two later? Me thinks it might be a 'tad' few more years than that! :0)
First Decanate Sagittarius are abstract thinkers. But you probably already knew that. LOL
And I hear ya about the sound volume in regards to movies. Happens on this side of the pond all the time. So aggravating!
You mean we're weird, right? William Blake and John Bunyan had the same birthday as me.
A year or two, or three, or a few...
