Confused.

Why am I suddenly getting ‘up close and personal’ comments from somebody called Anonymous? In fact, the writing styles suggest at least two different people called Anonymous. I thought the up close and personal people had gone. I admitted my error, where appropriate, and thought that was that. Why am I still an issue? I don’t understand.

Because you're a game.

Oh good. About time, too!

Who said you were an issue?

Hee hee!!

Anon: You did - by implication.

Melanie: Tut!

You're too easy.

JJ said...

I know. It's the new, nicer me.

And you know why you're easy? Because these two anons are not the same person.

Then you both have me at a disadvantage. No chance of talking pig's throats and appendages, I suppose? Thought not. Better start boiling the oil, then. Tomorrow, when the scotch has worn off. Being assaulted on two fronts needs a clear head.

I'm sorry; are these idiomatic expressions? I'm not familiar with them and a result, your reply is perplexing. =\

Don't blame me. If you insist on commenting anonymously, how am I supposed to know who I'm talking to? At least one of you should know what I'm talking about. Then again, this could just be a practical joke perpetrated by somebody who would be better employed keeping the beer cellar in order.

You do realise, you apparent pair of Anons, that a conversation requires more than mere reaction to the most recent statement? It requires the whole thread to be held in mind so as to keep the context meaningful. How can I do that if I don't know which thread I'm on? And, of course, I'm curious as to why you feel the need to comment anonymously.

Honestly? Because I'm too lazy to sign in.

You don't have a Google account, then?

Anonymous said...

I do, but it's easier to just click anonymous.
