Where Will the Ad Men Slither to Next?

There’s an ad on my Yahoo e-mail home page for what I assume is a dating agency. It reads simply:

Turn your life around!
Get married now.

This strikes me as a little odd. I can understand advertisers trying to sway the undecided on such matters as, say, whether to buy a Ford or a Toyota. But surely, the general question of whether or not a person wants to be married should be a bit beyond the advertisers’ remit. Shouldn’t it?
