Odd, you should say that. My tomatoes just wouldn't take off this year. They were planted early enough, but they're about two months late in their development. I'll be lucky if I get a few in September. Bags of lettuce, though, and I'm swamped with sugar snap peas and runner beans.

oh yum, fresh runner beans!! i have lots of toms, but not very mmany going ripe at all, blooming weather lol

This is my first year of runner beans, and I'm learning which ones to pick. You have to use the slim ones. The fat ones with big beans are horribly tough. Well, mine are anyway.
