Defining Erotica.

Erotic films seem to be defined, by common consent, as those in which the audience gets a view of people copulating. I don’t understand that. I’ve never understood it.

I understand the appeal of having sex, but I’ve never understood the appeal of watching other people do it. Does that mean I have something lacking, or is it that I simply don’t do vicarious?

If anybody wants to comment on this, please be sure you’re over the age of consent. And no jokes about what I might have lacking! It’s bad enough lacking it, without being told.
