When it comes to spiritual matters I decline to be certain of anything, since certainty breeds stagnation. So when somebody tells me ‘This is how it is,’ I switch them off. I expect to gain certainty when I become enlightened, and when that happens I think it likely that I shall stop living in this form of reality. In the meantime, exploration is the name of the game.
