For What it's Worth.

Seven people have expressed regret at the discontinuance this blog. I have a certain superstitious reverence for the number seven. So I’m thinking about it. I didn’t finish the creepy stories, did I? I dislike unfinished things.

I think it is very important to pay attention to the signs. SAVOR the seven.

Paige: I read your latest blog a couple of days ago. I haven't commented because I'm still trying to work out my relationship to the 'neighbour' question. I'm weird like that! Just so you know I'm not ignoring you. As if I could. That combination of emotional freedom and eloquence is quite extraordinary and very engaging.

O&AR is such a fixture in my blog promenade.

Nameless One, Mysterious Being, Invisible Denizen of some space beyond an opaque veil, Faceless Phantom who speaks my name fom impenetrable shadow or realm of blinding light:

I was thinking of offering a deal. You tell me your name and I'll continue blogging. But then I realised it would be unreasonable, especially to me. Blogging, like the impure expressions of love to which we humans are prey, is driven essentially be self-interest.

So I'm still thinking about it. But thank you. whoever you are.

Not the description I would have chosen, madam. To me you embody the fabled mysteries of the Orient. Tell me of SUVs, chaotic streets, Bollywood, stifling heat - I don't care. You awaken the sometime dreamer in me. Like it or not, you are the tiger's eye.

OTT, eh? Never. What use is the top, if not for going over?

Lucy: I think I shouldn't elaborate on the part you played in changing my mind.
