A Chicken and Egg Issue.

Vis-à-vis the last post about my obsession with the number three, it occurs to me that the real problem isn’t so much the number itself but the fact that I have an unnatural habit of counting things. I’m trying to quit, you know, I really am.

‘Jeffrey,’ I say to myself, ‘for heaven’s sake stop counting things.’

‘Why should I?’ replies my OCD half indignantly.

‘Because if you don’t it’ll drive you mad.’

‘But I must be mad to keep on counting things, so what difference would it make?’

And I really don’t know what else to say on the matter.

I wonder why God gives each one of us something unusual about ourselves. I guess it's his own way of making each one of us unique.
It's funny really because odd numbers seem to drive me crazy.
I like or rather insist on having everything I own to come in pairs-identical pairs.

So we’re all mad in different ways. Comforting thought.

Very nice to hear from you, Caroline. I do hope that you and the boys are well (what a pity they’re not identical twins) and that life in East Africa is at least tolerable. And I hope you avoid the worst of the carnage if Mr Putin starts WWIII.

Thank you for the comment.

Nice to hear from you too JJ. It's a pity they are no twins right! HaHaHa.....

Life is tolerable I could say....the cost of living has inflated due to high fuel prices and with elections around the corner I hope it doesn't worsen. Oh! And there goes Putin another reason to avoid watching the news.
