I just watched a video on YouTube in which a young blonde woman with a Nordic-sounding name plays a hurdy-gurdy and sings a Nordic-sounding song in the woods. Why doesn't that sort of thing ever happen in real life? (Not that I'd have a clue what to do with a hurdy-gurdy at my age, but still...)
