wow, what gorgeous color! fantastic.
What irks me slightly is that I must have taken hundreds of thousands of pictures, first as an amateur, then during my six years as a pro. Most of them ended up in the files of publishers and picture libraries. A few years ago I edited what I had left on my own files down to the best 20% and sent them to a picture library in Britain. The rest were thrown. That’s why all I have on my computer are what I’ve lifted from their site. (I can use them because they’re my copyright, but I can’t release them because they’re contracted.) Many of the best pictures I’ll never see again, and those I can access have the water mark on – and they’re low resolution, of course. Maybe that’s a good lesson in seeing how ephemeral everything is. Thanks a lot for the comments. They’re much appreciated.
