I'm not sure if you have such types in the UK - usually they're born-again Evangelicals - but they make an easy target for humor among the non-religious or even the not-that-religious in the US. <br /><br />YouTube probably recommended it to you because you were watching comedies and music - Garfunkel & Oates are rather folksy-sounding and might be described as "quirky" and more than slightly subversive.
